¹³ But they replied, “Your servants^(A) were twelve brothers, the sons of one man, who lives in the land of Canaan.^(B) The youngest is now with our father, and one is no more.”^(C)

²⁹ When they came to their father Jacob in the land of Canaan,^(A) they told him all that had happened to them.^(B) They said,

¹⁸ and he drove all his livestock ahead of him, along with all the goods he had accumulated^(A) in Paddan Aram,^[a](B) to go to his father Isaac^(C) in the land of Canaan.^(D)

¹⁷ Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Tell your brothers, ‘Do this: Load your animals^(A) and return to the land of Canaan,^(B)
