7 And the thin ears swallowed up the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream. 8 And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the [a]magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.
9 Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I [b]do remember my faults this day:

New International Version
7 The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven healthy, full heads. Then Pharaoh woke up;(A) it had been a dream.
8 In the morning his mind was troubled,(B) so he sent for all the magicians(C) and wise men of Egypt. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but no one could interpret them for him.(D)
9 Then the chief cupbearer said to Pharaoh, “Today I am reminded of my shortcomings.(E)
