Genesis 41:55-57
New Living Translation
55 Eventually, however, the famine spread throughout the land of Egypt as well. And when the people cried out to Pharaoh for food, he told them, “Go to Joseph, and do whatever he tells you.” 56 So with severe famine everywhere, Joseph opened up the storehouses and distributed grain to the Egyptians, for the famine was severe throughout the land of Egypt. 57 And people from all around came to Egypt to buy grain from Joseph because the famine was severe throughout the world.

55 When all Egypt began to feel the famine,(A) the people cried to Pharaoh for food. Then Pharaoh told all the Egyptians, “Go to Joseph and do what he tells you.”(B)
56 When the famine had spread over the whole country, Joseph opened all the storehouses and sold grain to the Egyptians,(C) for the famine(D) was severe throughout Egypt.(E) 57 And all the world came to Egypt to buy grain from Joseph,(F) because the famine was severe everywhere.(G)
