6 [a]When Joseph came to them in the morning and observed them, [b]behold, they were dejected. 7 He asked Pharaoh’s officials who were with him in confinement in his master’s house, “[c](A)Why are your faces so sad today?” 8 Then they said to him, “(B)We have [d]had a dream and there is no one to interpret it.” Then Joseph said to them, “(C)Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell it to me, please.”

6 When Joseph came to them the next morning, he saw that they were dejected. 7 So he asked Pharaoh’s officials who were in custody(A) with him in his master’s house, “Why do you look so sad today?”(B)
8 “We both had dreams,” they answered, “but there is no one to interpret them.”(C)
Then Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God?(D) Tell me your dreams.”
