Genesis 40:3-5
New English Translation
3 so he imprisoned them in the house of the captain of the guard in the same facility where Joseph was confined. 4 The captain of the guard appointed Joseph to be their attendant, and he served them.[a]
They spent some time in custody.[b] 5 Both of them, the cupbearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were confined in the prison, had a dream[c] the same night.[d] Each man’s dream had its own meaning.[e]

New International Version
3 and put them in custody in the house of the captain of the guard,(A) in the same prison where Joseph was confined. 4 The captain of the guard(B) assigned them to Joseph,(C) and he attended them.
After they had been in custody(D) for some time, 5 each of the two men—the cupbearer and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were being held in prison—had a dream(E) the same night, and each dream had a meaning of its own.(F)
