Genesis 4:6-8

6 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you furious?(A) And why do you look despondent?[a] 7 If you do what is right, won’t you be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.”(B)
8 Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let’s go out to the field.”[b] And while they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.(C)

Genesis 4:6-8
New International Version
6 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry?(A) Why is your face downcast? 7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door;(B) it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.(C)”
8 Now Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let’s go out to the field.”[a] While they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.(D)
