4 And Abel also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering;
5 but unto Cain and to his offering He had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6 And the Lord said unto Cain, “Why art thou wroth? And why is thy countenance fallen?

4 And Abel also brought an offering—fat portions(A) from some of the firstborn of his flock.(B) The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering,(C) 5 but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.
6 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry?(D) Why is your face downcast?
