Genesis 4:15-17

15 Then[a] Yahweh said to him, “Therefore, whoever kills Cain will be avenged sevenfold.” Then[b] Yahweh put a sign on Cain so that whoever found him would not kill him. 16 And Cain went out from the presence of Yahweh, and he settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
17 And Cain knew[c] his wife, and she conceived and gave birth to Enoch. And when he built a city he named the city after his son, Enoch.[d]

Genesis 4:15-17
New International Version
15 But the Lord said to him, “Not so[a]; anyone who kills Cain(A) will suffer vengeance(B) seven times over.(C)” Then the Lord put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him. 16 So Cain went out from the Lord’s presence(D) and lived in the land of Nod,[b] east of Eden.(E)
17 Cain made love to his wife,(F) and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city,(G) and he named it after his son(H) Enoch.
