10 Again he said, What hast thou done? the [a]voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me, from the earth.
11 Now therefore thou art cursed [b]from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thine hand.
12 When thou shalt till the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength: a [c]vagabond and a runagate shalt thou be in the earth.

New International Version
10 The Lord said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.(A) 11 Now you are under a curse(B) and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. 12 When you work the ground, it will no longer yield its crops for you.(C) You will be a restless wanderer(D) on the earth.(E)”
