²⁸ Then some ^(A)Midianite traders passed by, so they pulled him up and lifted Joseph out of the pit and ^(B)sold Joseph to the Ishmaelites for ^[a]twenty shekels of silver. Thus ^(C)they brought Joseph into Egypt.

³² If the ox gores a male or female slave, ^[a]the owner shall give his or her master ^[b](A)thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned.

¹⁵ and said, “What are you willing to give me ^[a]to ^(A)deliver Him to you?” And ^(B)they weighed out ^[b]thirty pieces of silver to him.

⁹ Then that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled, saying, “^(A)And ^[a]they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of the one whose price had been set by the sons of Israel; ^10 (B)and ^[b]they gave them for the Potter’s Field, as the ^[c]Lord directed me.”
