Genesis 35:2-4

2 So Jacob instructed all those in his household to destroy the idols they had brought with them, and to wash themselves and to put on fresh clothing. 3 “For we are going to Bethel,” he told them, “and I will build an altar there to the God who answered my prayers in the day of my distress, and was with me on my journey.”
4 So they gave Jacob all their idols and their earrings, and he buried them beneath the oak tree near Shechem.

2 So Jacob said to his household(A) and to all who were with him, “Get rid of the foreign gods(B) you have with you, and purify yourselves and change your clothes.(C) 3 Then come, let us go up to Bethel, where I will build an altar to God,(D) who answered me in the day of my distress(E) and who has been with me wherever I have gone.(F)” 4 So they gave Jacob all the foreign gods they had and the rings in their ears,(G) and Jacob buried them under the oak(H) at Shechem.(I)
