Genesis 33:16-18
Common English Bible
16 That day Esau returned on the road to Seir, 17 but Jacob traveled to Succoth. He built a house for himself but made temporary shelters for his animals; therefore, he named the place Succoth.[a]

18 Jacob arrived safely at the city of Shechem in the land of Canaan on his trip from Paddan-aram, and he camped in front of the city.

Genesis 33:16-18
New International Version
16 So that day Esau started on his way back to Seir.(A) 17 Jacob, however, went to Sukkoth,(B) where he built a place for himself and made shelters for his livestock. That is why the place is called Sukkoth.[a]
18 After Jacob came from Paddan Aram,[b](C) he arrived safely at the city of Shechem(D) in Canaan and camped within sight of the city.
