⁵⁴Then Jacob offered a sacrifice on the mountain, and called his brethren to eat bread. And they ate bread and stayed all night on the mountain.

New International Version

⁵⁴He offered a sacrifice^(A) there in the hill country and invited his relatives to a meal.^(B) After they had eaten, they spent the night there.

⁵⁴Then Jacob offered sacrifice upon the mount, and called his brethren to eat bread: and they did eat bread, and tarried all night in the mount.

²⁵Then they made the present ready for Joseph’s coming at noon, for they heard that they would eat bread there.

²⁵They prepared their gifts^(A) for Joseph’s arrival at noon,^(B) because they had heard that they were to eat there.

²⁵And they made ready the present against Joseph came at noon: for they heard that they should eat bread there.
