²⁴ But God ^(A)had come to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said to him, “Be careful that you ^(B)speak to Jacob neither good nor bad.”

²⁹ It is in my power to do you harm, but the ^(A)God of your father spoke to me ^(B)last night, saying, ‘Be careful that you speak to Jacob neither good nor bad.’

¹⁷ And David went out ^[a]to meet them, and answered and said to them, “If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no ^[b]wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look and bring judgment.”
