Genesis 29:4-6
New English Translation
4 Jacob asked them, “My brothers, where are you from?” They replied, “We’re from Haran.” 5 So he said to them, “Do you know Laban, the grandson[a] of Nahor?” “We know him,”[b] they said. 6 “Is he well?”[c] Jacob asked. They replied, “He is well.[d] Now look, here comes his daughter Rachel with the sheep.”

4 Jacob asked the shepherds, “My brothers, where are you from?”(A)
“We’re from Harran,(B)” they replied.
5 He said to them, “Do you know Laban, Nahor’s grandson?”(C)
“Yes, we know him,” they answered.
6 Then Jacob asked them, “Is he well?”
“Yes, he is,” they said, “and here comes his daughter Rachel(D) with the sheep.(E)”
