Names of God Bible
17 Filled with awe, he said, “How awe-inspiring this place is! Certainly, this is the house of Elohim and the gateway to heaven!”
18 Early the next morning Jacob took the stone he had put under his head. He set it up as a marker and poured olive oil on top of it. 19 He named that place Bethel [House of God]. Previously, the name of the city was Luz.

18 Early the next morning Jacob took the stone he had placed under his head(C) and set it up as a pillar(D) and poured oil on top of it.(E) 19 He called that place Bethel,[a](F) though the city used to be called Luz.(G)
