Genesis 28:17-19

17 And he was afraid and said, “(A)How fearsome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”
18 So Jacob rose early in the morning and took (B)the stone that he had put [a]under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on its top. 19 And he called the name of that place [b](C)Bethel; however, [c]previously the name of the city had been (D)Luz.

Genesis 28:17-19
New International Version
17 He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place!(A) This is none other than the house of God;(B) this is the gate of heaven.”
18 Early the next morning Jacob took the stone he had placed under his head(C) and set it up as a pillar(D) and poured oil on top of it.(E) 19 He called that place Bethel,[a](F) though the city used to be called Luz.(G)
