32 Isaac his father said to him, “Who are you?” And he replied, “I am your son, your firstborn, Esau.” 33 Then Isaac trembled violently, and he said, “Then who was the one [who was just here] who hunted game and brought it to me? I ate all of it before you came, and I blessed him. Yes, and he [in fact] shall be (shall remain) blessed.” 34 When Esau heard the words of his father, he cried out with a great and extremely bitter cry and said to his father, “Bless me, even me also, O my father!”(A)

33 Isaac trembled violently and said, “Who was it, then, that hunted game and brought it to me?(C) I ate it just before you came and I blessed him—and indeed he will be blessed!(D)

34 When Esau heard his father’s words, he burst out with a loud and bitter cry(E) and said to his father, “Bless(F) me—me too, my father!”
