12 Perhaps my father will feel me, and I shall seem to be mocking him, and bring a curse upon myself and not a blessing.” 13 His mother said to him, “Upon me be your curse, my son; only obey my word, and go, fetch them to me.” 14 So he went and took them and brought them to his mother; and his mother prepared savory food, such as his father loved.

12 What if my father touches me?(A) I would appear to be tricking him and would bring down a curse(B) on myself rather than a blessing.”
13 His mother said to him, “My son, let the curse fall on me.(C) Just do what I say;(D) go and get them for me.”
14 So he went and got them and brought them to his mother, and she prepared some tasty food, just the way his father liked it.(E)
