Genesis 26:27-29
Contemporary English Version
27 When they arrived, Isaac asked, “Why are you here? Didn't you send me away because you hated me?”
28 They answered, “We now know for certain that the Lord is with you, and we have decided there needs to be a peace treaty between you and us. So let's make a solemn agreement 29 not to harm each other. Remember, we have never hurt you, and when we sent you away, we let you go in peace. The Lord has truly blessed you.”

New International Version
27 Isaac asked them, “Why have you come to me, since you were hostile to me and sent me away?(A)”
28 They answered, “We saw clearly that the Lord was with you;(B) so we said, ‘There ought to be a sworn agreement between us’—between us and you. Let us make a treaty(C) with you 29 that you will do us no harm,(D) just as we did not harm you but always treated you well and sent you away peacefully. And now you are blessed by the Lord.”(E)
