18 (A)(They dwelt from Havilah as far as Shur, which is east of Egypt as you go toward Assyria.) He [a]died (B)in the presence of all his brethren.
19 This is the (C)genealogy of Isaac, Abraham’s son. (D)Abraham begot Isaac. 20 Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah as wife, (E)the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padan Aram, (F)the sister of Laban the Syrian.

18 His descendants(A) settled in the area from Havilah to Shur,(B) near the eastern border of Egypt, as you go toward Ashur. And they lived in hostility toward[a] all the tribes related to them.(C)

19 This is the account(D) of the family line of Abraham’s son Isaac.
Abraham became the father of Isaac, 20 and Isaac was forty years old(E) when he married Rebekah(F) daughter of Bethuel(G) the Aramean from Paddan Aram[b](H) and sister of Laban(I) the Aramean.(J)
