16 These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns and by their castles: to wit, twelve princes of their nations.
17 (And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred thirty and seven years, and he yielded up the spirit, and died, and was gathered unto his [a]people.)
18 And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is towards Egypt, as thou goest to Asshur. Ishmael [b]dwelt [c]in the presence of all his brethren.

New International Version
16 These were the sons of Ishmael, and these are the names of the twelve tribal rulers(A) according to their settlements and camps.(B) 17 Ishmael lived a hundred and thirty-seven years. He breathed his last and died, and he was gathered to his people.(C) 18 His descendants(D) settled in the area from Havilah to Shur,(E) near the eastern border of Egypt, as you go toward Ashur. And they lived in hostility toward[a] all the tribes related to them.(F)
