⁵⁰Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, ^(A)“The thing comes from the Lord; we cannot ^(B)speak to you either bad or good.

⁵⁰Laban and Bethuel^(A) answered, “This is from the Lord;^(B) we can say nothing to you one way or the other.^(C)

²⁴But God ^(A)had come to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said to him, “Be careful that you ^(B)speak to Jacob neither good nor bad.”

²⁴Then God came to Laban the Aramean^(A) in a dream at night and said to him,^(B) “Be careful not to say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.”^(C)
