Genesis 22:6-8
International Standard Version
6 Then Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac. Abraham[a] carried the fire and the knife. And so the two of them went on together.
Abraham Answers Isaac’s Question
7 Isaac addressed his father Abraham: “My father!”
“I’m here, my son,” Abraham replied.
Isaac asked, “The fire and the wood are here, but where’s the lamb for the burnt offering?”
8 Abraham answered, “God will provide[b] himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.”

New International Version
6 Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac,(A) and he himself carried the fire and the knife.(B) As the two of them went on together, 7 Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?”
“Yes, my son?” Abraham replied.
“The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb(C) for the burnt offering?”
8 Abraham answered, “God himself will provide(D) the lamb(E) for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together.
