¹³ for we are about to destroy this place, because ^(A)their outcry has become so great before the Lord that ^(B)the Lord has sent us to destroy it.”

^11 (A)This whole land will be a desolation and a horror, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon ^(B)seventy years.

^18 (A)Jerusalem and the cities of Judah and its kings and its princes, to make them a ruin, a horror, a hissing and a curse, as it is this day;

¹⁸ I will pursue them with the sword, with famine and with pestilence; and I will ^(A)make them a terror to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a ^(B)curse and a horror and a ^(C)hissing, and a reproach among all the nations where I have driven them,

¹⁸ For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “As My ^(A)anger and wrath have been poured out on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so My wrath will be poured out on you when you enter Egypt. And you will become a ^(B)curse, an object of horror, an imprecation and a reproach; and ^(C)you will see this place no more.”

¹² And I will ^(A)take away the remnant of Judah who have set their ^[a]mind on entering the land of Egypt to reside there, and they will all ^[b](B)meet their end in the land of Egypt; they will fall by the sword and meet their end by famine. Both small and great will die by the sword and famine; and they will become a ^(C)curse, an object of horror, an imprecation and a reproach.
