7 And Abraham ran to the cattle and took a calf,[a] tender and good, and gave it to the servant, and he made haste to prepare it. 8 Then he took curds and milk, and the calf which he prepared, and set it before them. And he was standing by them under the tree while[b] they ate. 9 And they said to him, “Where is Sarah your wife?” And he said, “Here, in the tent.”

7 Then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf(A) and gave it to a servant, who hurried to prepare it. 8 He then brought some curds(B) and milk(C) and the calf that had been prepared, and set these before them.(D) While they ate, he stood near them under a tree.
9 “Where is your wife Sarah?”(E) they asked him.
“There, in the tent,(F)” he said.
