⁶ And I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and ^(A)kings will go forth from you.

^4 (A)And I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and I will give your seed all these lands; and ^(B)by your seed all the nations of the earth ^[a]shall be blessed;

¹¹ God also said to him,

⁷ But the sons of Israel ^(A)were fruitful and ^[a]increased and multiplied and became exceedingly ^[b]mighty, so that the land was filled with them.

⁵ And you shall answer and say before Yahweh your God, ‘^(A)My father was a ^[a]wandering Aramean, and he went down to Egypt and ^[b]sojourned there, ^(B)few in number; but there he became a ^(C)great, mighty, and populous nation.

¹⁷ “But as the ^(A)time of the promise was drawing near which God had assured to Abraham, ^(B)the people increased and multiplied in Egypt,
