Genesis 16:9-11

9 The angel said, “Go back to Sarai and be her slave. 10-11 I will give you a son, who will be called Ishmael,[a] because I have heard your cry for help. And someday I will give you so many descendants that no one will be able to count them all.

9 Then the angel of the Lord told her, “Go back to your mistress and submit to her.” 10 The angel added, “I will increase your descendants so much that they will be too numerous to count.”(A)

11 The angel of the Lord(B) also said to her:

“You are now pregnant
    and you will give birth to a son.(C)
You shall name him(D) Ishmael,[a](E)
    for the Lord has heard of your misery.(F)
