9 with Chedorlaomer king of Elam, Tidal king of Goiim, Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar, four kings against five. 10 Now the Valley of Siddim was full of (A)bitumen pits, and as the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, some fell into them, and the rest fled (B)to the hill country. 11 So the enemy took (C)all the possessions of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their provisions, and went their way.

9 against Kedorlaomer(A) king of Elam,(B) Tidal king of Goyim, Amraphel king of Shinar and Arioch king of Ellasar—four kings against five. 10 Now the Valley of Siddim(C) was full of tar(D) pits, and when the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah(E) fled, some of the men fell into them and the rest fled to the hills.(F) 11 The four kings seized all the goods(G) of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their food; then they went away.
