21 And the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give the [a]people to me, but take the possessions for yourself.” 22 Then Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have [b]raised my hand to Yahweh [c](A)God Most High, [d](B)possessor of heaven and earth, 23 that (C)I will not take a thread or a sandal strap or anything that is yours, so that you would not say, ‘I have made Abram rich.’

22 But Abram said to the king of Sodom,(C) “With raised hand(D) I have sworn an oath to the Lord, God Most High,(E) Creator of heaven and earth,(F) 23 that I will accept nothing belonging to you,(G) not even a thread or the strap of a sandal, so that you will never be able to say, ‘I made Abram rich.’
