^18 (A)Then Abram moved his tent, and went and ^(B)dwelt by ^[a]the terebinth trees of Mamre, ^(C)which are in Hebron, and built an ^(D)altar there to the Lord.

¹³ And Joshua ^(A)blessed him, ^(B)and gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh as an inheritance.

Caleb Occupies Hebron and Debir^(A)

^13 (B)Now to Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a share among the children of ^(C)Judah, according to the commandment of the Lord to Joshua, namely, ^(D)Kirjath Arba, which is Hebron (Arba was the father of Anak).

⁷ So they appointed ^(A)Kedesh in Galilee, in the mountains of Naphtali, ^(B)Shechem in the mountains of Ephraim, and ^(C)Kirjath Arba (which is Hebron) in ^(D)the mountains of Judah.

^11 (A)And they gave them ^[a]Kirjath Arba (Arba was the father of ^(B)Anak), ^(C)which is Hebron, in the mountains of Judah, with the common-land surrounding it.
