³¹ And Terah ^(A)took his son Abram and his grandson Lot, the son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, his son Abram’s wife, and they went out with them from ^(B)Ur of the Chaldeans to go to ^(C)the land of Canaan; and they came to Haran and dwelt there.

³² So the days of Terah were two hundred and five years, and Terah died in Haran.

The Family of Nahor

²⁰ Now it came to pass after these things that it was told Abraham, saying, “Indeed ^(A)Milcah also has borne children to your brother Nahor:

⁴³ Now therefore, my son, obey my voice: arise, flee to my brother Laban ^(A)in Haran.

⁵ Then he said to them, “Do you know ^(A)Laban the son of Nahor?”

And they said, “We know him.”
