14 In those days King Amraphel of Shinar,^(A) King Arioch of Ellasar, King Chedorlaomer of Elam,^(B) and King Tidal of Goiim^[a]

¹¹ On that day^(A) the Lord will extend his hand a second time to recover the remnant of his people who survive—from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and the coasts and islands of the west.^(B)

²⁴ “Son of man, those who live in the^[a] ruins in the land of Israel are saying, ‘Abraham was only one person,^(A) yet he received possession of the land.^(B) But we are many; surely the land has been given to us as a possession.’^(C)
