10 And these are the genealogical records of Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Sons were born to them after the flood.

²Japheth’s sons were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech and Tiras. ³Gomer’s sons were Ashkenaz, Riphath and Togarmah.

Genesis 10:2 Sons may mean descendants or successors or nations; also in verses 3, 4, 6, 7, 20-23, 29 and 31.
