Genesis 1:14-16

14 And God said, “Let there be lights[a] in the vaulted dome[b] of heaven[c] to separate day from night,[d] and let them be as signs and for appointed times, and for days and years, 15 and they shall be as lights[e] in the vaulted dome[f] of heaven[g] to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 And God made two lights,[h] the greater light[i] to rule[j] the day and the smaller light[k] to rule[l] the night, and the stars.

Genesis 1:14-16
New International Version
14 And God said, “Let there be lights(A) in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night,(B) and let them serve as signs(C) to mark sacred times,(D) and days and years,(E) 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so.(F) 16 God made two great lights—the greater light(G) to govern(H) the day and the lesser light to govern(I) the night.(J) He also made the stars.(K)
