Galatians 4:29-30

Good News Translation

²⁹^(A)At that time the son who was born in the usual way persecuted the one who was born because of God's Spirit; and it is the same now. ³⁰^(B)But what does the scripture say? It says, “Send the slave woman and her son away; for the son of the slave woman will not have a part of the father's property along with the son of the free woman.”

²⁹At that time the son born according to the flesh^(A) persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit.^(B) It is the same now. ³⁰But what does Scripture say? “Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.”^[a]^(C)
