Galatians 3:11-13

¹¹Now it is evident that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, for “The just shall live by faith.”^[a] ¹²But the law is not of faith, for “The man who does them shall live by them.”^[b] ¹³Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by being made a curse for us—as it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”^[c]—

¹¹Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God,^(A) because “the righteous will live by faith.”^[a]^(B) ¹²The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”^[b]^(C) ¹³Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law^(D) by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”^[c]^(E)
