Galatians 3:11-13

International Standard Version

¹¹Now it is obvious that no one is justified in the sight of God by the Law, because “The righteous will live by faith.”^[a] ¹²But the Law has nothing to do with faith. Instead, “The person who keeps the commandments^[b] will have life in them.”^[c] ¹³The Messiah^[d] redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written, “A curse on everyone who is hung on a tree!”^[e]

Galatians 3:11-13

New International Version

¹¹Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God,^(A) because “the righteous will live by faith.”^[a]^(B) ¹²The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”^[b]^(C) ¹³Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law^(D) by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”^[c]^(E)
