Galatians 2:16-18
Disciples’ Literal New Testament
16 But knowing that a person[a] is not declared-righteous by works of the Law except[b] through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, in order that we might be declared-righteous by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law, because by works of the Law no flesh will be declared-righteous.
And We Died To The Law As a Rule of Life, And Now Live By Faith In The Son of God
17 But if [c] while seeking to be declared-righteous in Christ, we also ourselves were found to be sinners[d], is then Christ a minister of sin[e]? May it never be! 18 For if I am building again these[f] things which I tore-down[g], I am demonstrating[h] myself to be a transgressor.

17 “But if, in seeking to be justified in Christ, we Jews find ourselves also among the sinners,(D) doesn’t that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not!(E) 18 If I rebuild what I destroyed, then I really would be a lawbreaker.
