⁴ who gave himself for our sins^(A) to rescue us from this present evil age,^(B) according to the will of our God and Father.^(C)

³ We recall, in the presence of our God and Father,^(A) your work produced by faith,^(B) your labor motivated by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.^(C)

Prayer for the Church

¹¹ Now may our God and Father^(A) himself, and our Lord Jesus,^(B) direct our way to you.

¹³ May he make your hearts blameless^(A) in holiness^(B) before our God and Father at the coming^(C) of our Lord^(D) Jesus with all his saints. Amen.^[a]
