Ezra 10:12-14
English Standard Version Anglicised
12 Then all the assembly answered with a loud voice, “It is so; we must do as you have said. 13 But the people are many, and it is a time of heavy rain; we cannot stand in the open. Nor is this a task for one day or for two, for we have greatly transgressed in this matter. 14 Let our officials stand for the whole assembly. Let all in our cities who have taken foreign wives come (A)at appointed times, and with them the elders and judges of every city, (B)until the fierce wrath of our God over this matter is turned away from us.”

Ezra 10:12-14
New International Version
12 The whole assembly responded with a loud voice:(A) “You are right! We must do as you say. 13 But there are many people here and it is the rainy season; so we cannot stand outside. Besides, this matter cannot be taken care of in a day or two, because we have sinned greatly in this thing. 14 Let our officials act for the whole assembly. Then let everyone in our towns who has married a foreign woman come at a set time, along with the elders and judges(B) of each town, until the fierce anger(C) of our God in this matter is turned away from us.”
