¹¹ And before them stood ^(A)seventy men of ^(B)the elders of the house of Israel, with Jaazaniah the son of ^(C)Shaphan standing among them. Each had his censer in his hand, and ^(D)the smoke of the cloud of incense went up. ¹² Then he said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel are doing ^(E)in the dark, each ^(F)in his room of pictures? For they say, ^(G)‘The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’”

14 Then certain of the ^(A)elders of Israel came to me ^(B)and sat before me.

20 ^(A)In the seventh year, in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month, certain of ^(B)the elders of Israel came to inquire of the Lord, ^(C)and sat before me.

^3 (A)“Son of man, speak to the elders of Israel, and say to them, Thus says the Lord God, Is it to inquire of me that you come? ^(B)As I live, declares the Lord God, ^(C)I will not be inquired of by you.
