¹⁸ As for his father, because he practised extortion, robbed his brother, and did what is not good among his people, ^(A)behold, he shall die for his iniquity.

^30 (A)But everyone shall die for his own sin. Each man who eats sour grapes, his teeth shall be set on edge.

²¹ So he said to them again, ^(A)“I am going away, and ^(B)you will seek me, and ^(C)you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.”

²⁴ I told you that you ^(A)would die in your sins, for ^(B)unless you believe that ^(C)I am he you will die in your sins.”
