¹⁴even if these three men—Noah,^(A) Daniel^[a]^(B) and Job^(C)—were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness,^(D) declares the Sovereign Lord.

    and knowledge to the discerning.^(G)
²²He reveals deep and hidden things;^(H)
    he knows what lies in darkness,^(I)
    and light^(J) dwells with him.

    You have given me wisdom^(L) and power,
you have made known to me what we asked of you,
