Ezekiel 9:5-7
New English Translation
5 While I listened, he said to the others,[a] “Go through the city after him and strike people down; do not let your eye pity nor spare[b] anyone! 6 Old men, young men, young women, little children, and women—wipe them out! But do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary!” So they began with the elders who were at the front of the temple.
7 He said to them, “Defile the temple and fill the courtyards with corpses. Go!” So they went out and struck people down throughout the city.

5 As I listened, he said to the others, “Follow him through the city and kill, without showing pity(A) or compassion.(B) 6 Slaughter(C) the old men, the young men and women, the mothers and children,(D) but do not touch anyone who has the mark.(E) Begin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the old men(F) who were in front of the temple.(G)
7 Then he said to them, “Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain.(H) Go!” So they went out and began killing throughout the city.
