³⁹ And in the vestibule of the gate were two ^(A)tables on either side, on which the ^(B)burnt offering and the ^(C)sin offering and the ^(D)guilt offering were to be slaughtered.

^2 (A)The prince shall enter by the vestibule of the gate from outside, and shall take his stand by ^(B)the post of the gate. ^(C)The priests shall offer his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at ^(D)the threshold of the gate. Then he shall go out, but the gate shall not be shut until evening.

³ “If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer ^(A)a male without blemish. He shall bring it to the entrance of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the Lord. ^4 (B)He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be ^(C)accepted for him ^(D)to make atonement for him.
