19 The man then measured the area between the inner entrance of the lower east gate and the outside of the inner courtyard upper gate. It was about 175 feet on the east and the north.

20 Then I followed my guide to the north gateway at the outer courtyard and measured its length and width. 21 It had 3 chambers on each side, and all of their columns and porticos had the exact same measurements as the first east gate: 87½ feet long and 43¾ feet wide.

The North Gate

20 Then he measured the length and width of the north gate, leading into the outer court. 21 Its alcoves(C)—three on each side—its projecting walls and its portico(D) had the same measurements as those of the first gateway. It was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.
