¹⁰ The food that you eat shall be twenty shekels a day by weight; at fixed times you shall eat it.

¹¹ And you shall drink water by measure, one-sixth of a hin; at fixed times you shall drink.

²⁶ When I cut off your supply of bread,^[a] ten women shall bake your bread in a single oven, and they shall dole out your bread by weight, and though you eat, you shall not be satisfied.^(A)

¹⁶ when I loose against you^[a] my deadly arrows of famine, arrows for destruction, which I will let loose to destroy you, and when I bring more and more famine upon you and cut off your supply of bread.^[b](A)

¹⁹ and say to the people of the land: “Thus says the Lord God concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem in the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread with fearfulness and drink their water in dismay, because their land shall be stripped of all it contains, on account of the violence of all those who live in it.^(A)

¹³ Mortal, when a land sins against me by acting faithlessly and I stretch out my hand against it and cut off its supply of bread^[a] and send famine upon it and cut off from it humans and animals,^(A)
