Ezekiel 37:9-11

9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, mortal, and say to the breath:[a] Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath,[b] and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.”(A) 10 I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, a vast multitude.(B)
11 Then he said to me, “Mortal, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are cut off completely.’(C)

9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath;(A) prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds(B) and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded(C) me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.(D)
11 Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’(E)
