Ezekiel 3:5-7
American Standard Version
5 For thou art not sent to a people [a]of a strange speech and of a hard language, but to the house of Israel; 6 not to many peoples [b]of a strange speech and of a hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, if I sent thee to them, they would hearken unto thee. 7 But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are of a hard forehead and of a stiff heart.

New International Version
5 You are not being sent to a people of obscure speech and strange language,(A) but to the people of Israel— 6 not to many peoples of obscure speech and strange language, whose words you cannot understand. Surely if I had sent you to them, they would have listened to you.(B) 7 But the people of Israel are not willing to listen(C) to you because they are not willing to listen to me, for all the Israelites are hardened and obstinate.(D)
